The Objects of the Association are: –

  •  To promote friendship and understanding between peoples of different countries;
  •  To provide a forum for persons and entities within the Isle of Man interested in and concerned with international affairs.

 Here on the Isle of Man the United Nations Association holds regular informal lunches with varied speakers who address a variety of pertinent subjects to the Island and the UN initiatives world wide

We work with senior students at the Island’s schools to hold an annual Model Security Council Meeting replicating the official Council and providing a vital platform for students to debate and become aware of international negotiating stances.

 The Annual General Meeting is a more formal affair with a guest speaker and a dinner as well as addressing the business of the Association.

UN Day is celebrated in October and the Association also supports likeminded charities on the Island and celebration of other international days in the UN Calendar.
